Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
6. Course Content and Availability
7. Prices and Payment
16. Suspension or Termination
Continued use of the website after updated Terms are posted may constitute acceptance of those updated Terms where permitted by law.
21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the operator’s place of establishment, except where applicable consumer law gives the learner the right to bring proceedings in their country of residence.
22. Contact
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of this website, the purchase of online courses and digital products, and access to related services and materials made available through this platform.
By using this website, creating an account, or purchasing a course, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (though more specific terms are found on our original website - this being our LMS delivery website to improve speed and service). If you do not agree, you should not use this website or purchase any products or services from it.
2. About the Services
This website provides online TEFL-TESOL, and related training courses, together with associated digital learning materials, assessments, certificates, and learner support services where applicable.
All courses are delivered digitally through a password-protected online learning platform. No physical goods are supplied unless expressly stated.
3. Eligibility
By purchasing a course or using this website, you confirm that:
you are at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian;
the information you provide is accurate and complete;
you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
4. Account Registration and Access
To access a course, you are required to create an account and use login credentials, including a username and password.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity carried out under your account. You must not share your login details with any other person or allow multiple users to access the course through a single account.
Access to courses is granted to the registered learner only and is non-transferable, non-exclusive, and revocable if these Terms are breached.
5. Course Access and Delivery
Course access is provided digitally after payment has been successfully received, unless otherwise stated.
Access is normally granted through the online platform using a password-protected account. The duration of access, if limited, will be stated on the relevant course sales page or checkout page.
While reasonable efforts will be made to ensure continuous access, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. Access may occasionally be temporarily suspended for maintenance, updates, technical issues, or matters outside reasonable control.
6. Course Content and Availability
Course content may include written lessons, videos, audio, quizzes, downloadable materials, assessments, and certificates. Course structure, lesson order, and materials may be updated, improved, replaced, or removed at any time where reasonably necessary to maintain quality, accuracy, legal compliance, or platform functionality.
Any descriptions of course outcomes are provided for general information only. Completion of a course does not guarantee employment, visa eligibility, acceptance by any specific employer, or acceptance by any government, school, recruiter, or third party. Our certificates have always been able to be notarized and apostilled in the past, and we have never been contacted by any students, employers, or officials stating that a certificate was not accepted; therefore, we have no reason to believe our TEFL certificates won't be accepted.
7. Prices and Payment
All prices are displayed on the website at the time of purchase. Prices may be changed at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted and paid for.
Payment must be made in full before course access is granted, unless a different arrangement is expressly stated.
You are responsible for providing accurate billing information and for any taxes, charges, or fees applicable in your jurisdiction, except where the law requires otherwise.
8. Digital Content and Consumer Acknowledgement
By purchasing a course, you acknowledge that the product consists of digital content supplied electronically.
Access to the course may begin immediately after purchase or shortly thereafter. By requesting or using immediate access, you acknowledge that digital performance of the contract begins before the end of any standard cancellation period.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply under applicable law, including rights under UK or EU consumer protection legislation where applicable.
9. Refund Policy
A learner may request a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided that they have not progressed beyond the Unit 4 quiz in the purchased course.
For the purpose of this policy, progression beyond the Unit 4 quiz includes, without limitation:
completing content after the Unit 4 quiz;
attempting, opening, submitting, or completing assessments beyond the Unit 4 quiz;
otherwise advancing the course to a point beyond Unit 4 as shown by platform records.
Refund requests made within 14 days but after progression beyond the Unit 4 quiz may be refused on the basis that a substantial portion of the digital content has been accessed or consumed.
To request a refund, the learner must contact support using the contact details provided on our main website and include sufficient purchase information to identify the order.
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible, within a reasonable period and in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in this clause affects any statutory rights relating to faulty, misdescribed, or inaccessible digital content where such rights apply by law.
10. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you believe a payment was made in error, you should contact support first so the issue can be reviewed and, where appropriate, resolved promptly.
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first attempting to resolve the issue directly may result in suspension of course access while the matter is investigated.
11. Certificates
All courses include at least one certificate upon course completion. A certificate will only be issued when the relevant completion requirements have been met, as determined by the course rules and platform records - you must ensure that pre-download, you enter your name exactly as it appears on your passport.
Certificates are issued in digital form. Any optional upgrades, printed versions, postage of hardcopy certificates, or related services may be subject to additional fees (though a self-print certificate can be requested for a minor fee).
The website does not guarantee that any certificate will be accepted by every employer, recruiter, institution, or authority, as acceptance policies vary between organizations and countries, though we have never been made aware of any rejections before.
12. Learner Responsibilities
By using the website and courses, you agree:
to use the platform for lawful purposes only;
not to copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, or share course materials except where expressly permitted;
not to attempt to bypass platform security or access restricted areas without permission;
not to upload malicious code, spam, or harmful content;
not to behave abusively or unlawfully toward staff, tutors, support personnel, or other users.
13. Intellectual Property
All website content, course materials, videos, text, audio, graphics, branding, assessments, downloads, and related intellectual property are owned by or licensed to the site operator and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Purchase of a course grants a limited personal licence to access and use the materials for your own individual learning only. It does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property rights.
You must not reproduce, record, distribute, publish, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any course content without prior written permission.
14. Platform and Technical Requirements
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have adequate internet access, a compatible device, and any necessary software to use the platform.
The website is not responsible for access issues caused by your device, internet connection, outdated browser, forgotten password, spam filters, firewall restrictions, or other user-side technical limitations.
15. Support and Communications
Learner support may be provided by email, platform messaging, or other methods described on the website. Response times are not guaranteed unless expressly stated.
You agree that communications relating to your account, purchases, course access, updates, and support may be sent electronically.
16. Suspension or Termination
Access to the website or any course may be suspended or terminated without refund if you:
breach these Terms;
share account access with others;
misuse the platform;
infringe intellectual property rights;
engage in fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful conduct.
Where appropriate, access may also be suspended temporarily for technical, legal, or security reasons.
17. Disclaimer
Courses and materials are provided for educational purposes only. While reasonable efforts are made to keep content accurate and up to date, no guarantee is given that all materials will be complete, current, or suitable for every individual purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, no guarantee is given regarding specific outcomes, employment opportunities, interview success, visa approval, earnings, or business results from completing any course.
18. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or breach of mandatory consumer rights.
Subject to the above, the total liability arising out of or in connection with the website, courses, or services shall be limited to the amount paid by the learner for the relevant course or service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, no liability shall be accepted for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, loss of data, or business interruption.
19. Privacy and Data Protection
Personal data will be handled in accordance with the website’s Privacy Policy. By using the website, you acknowledge that personal data may be collected, stored, and processed as necessary to provide course access, process payments, deliver support, and comply with legal obligations.
20. Changes to These Terms
These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time. The version published on the website at the time of your purchase will generally apply to that purchase, unless a change is required by law or is clearly stated to apply immediately.
Continued use of the website after updated Terms are posted may constitute acceptance of those updated Terms where permitted by law.
21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to the operator’s place of establishment, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in the learner’s country of residence apply and require otherwise.
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the operator’s place of establishment, except where applicable consumer law gives the learner the right to bring proceedings in their country of residence.
22. Contact
For questions about these Terms and Conditions, refund requests, or support issues, users should contact the website operator through the contact details provided on our main website.
